Meet the Founder

Hello — Abiy here 👋

I’m the founder of Codex360, a strategic communications and digital infrastructure company focused on helping organizations turn visibility into meaningful ecosystem growth, participation, and impact.

My work sits at the intersection of ecosystem building, sustainability, venture development, digital systems, and tech governance — making sure important development conversations are not buried under algorithm-driven distraction.

I believe there are more human-intelligent ways of nurturing talent and creating jobs in today’s rapidly digitizing world. Through strategy, visual storytelling, and digital platforms, our team turns complex policy, innovation, and sustainability solutions into clear pathways for action.

Over the past few years, I’ve worked on initiatives in climate innovation, clean mobility ecosystems, and multi-stakeholder development platforms, including communications and production for continental projects and initiatives such as the Digital Center of Excellence at the UN Economic Commission for Africa, the Action4Peace Campaign, and the Africa E-Mobility Alliance, among others. A growing part of my focus is exploring how AI, digital infrastructure, and payment-enabled systems can help African institutions scale more intelligently and productively.

Most recently, my work as a Projects Communication Consultant at the UN Economic Commission for Africa has given me the opportunity to support initiatives around digital skills, data governance, interoperability, and cybersecurity across the continent.

By training, I’m a Civil Engineer (BSc), hold an MBA in Business Leadership from Addis Ababa University, and an MSc in Sustainability and Technology Governance from University of Leeds - UK. I’m also a Chevening Scholar and serve on the Executive Board of the Now Generation Network at the Mo Ibrahim Foundation.

Outside of work, I’m probably the kind of person who turns ordinary conversations into ecosystem diagrams and strategy frameworks 😄 Excited to learn from this community, exchange ideas, and collaborate with people building impactful things across Africa and beyond.
